On October 28th Linde released the first modules of the new dealer online support system "LindeLink". Linde dealers are now able to inquire parts pricing and availability online through the internet. 100,000 parts are available for inquiry and ordering through the online system. Parts and parts prices are replicated daily with Linde's back office ERP system SAP R/3. Availability and ordering of parts are interfaced live with Linde's SAP system. SPC's project management ensured on-time delivery of customer requirements.

manufacturer Linde Lift Truck starts implementation of e-Commerce solution

Following a rigorous evaluation of e-Commerce providers guided by SPC, Linde chooses Intershop's e-Commerce platform Enfinity to implement a dealer online support system. The project is set to start in August and to last for 3 months until the first release of the system. The system will provide dealers with the capability of inquiring price and availability of parts, to place and truck parts orders, to request part returns and to manage truck warranties. The system will also be used within Linde to process and disposition warranty claims submitted through the online system. All processes will be interfaced with Linde's ERP system SAP R/3. Both the dealer and Linde's user interface utilize current browser technology and do not require any additional software. |
